Birthday Parties with
Carolyn and Aquila
Are you planning a birthday party? Kids
love horses and it’s a great way to make a party fun and
educational too!
In October of 2003, I rescued an abused
horse. He was starving to death. He was very scared,
but he is a very sweet horse. I spent many hours teaching
him tricks. It was a great way for him to learn to trust
me and as for me, I gained his respect.
I teach a Sunday School class of 5th
& 6th graders. I soon discovered how much I
enjoyed being with these kids as well as two kids of my own.
I also enjoy being with my horse, so I decided to find a way to
enjoy them together. Birthday parties seemed to be the
answer.
Although Aquila (a biblical name that I chose
for him) is fairly new at his tricks, he performs them with
confidence and ease.
Planning your Party:
You can reach me at my home in Grapeland, Texas
936-687-4196 or 936-545-3890
We will set a date. The cost is
very
reasonable.
We will begin with a short skit, which includes
topics about horses and their behaviors. I believe that
getting Aquila was an answered prayer, so thanking Jesus will be
expressed. After the skit, I will assist the kids if they
would like to brush or pet Aquila.
You can have your photograph taken with Aquila
for an additional cost. Frames are sold separately.
Since Aquila was abused, he is much more
comfortable in his own environment. I have adequate space
for seating and taking pictures. It would be best to plan
to transport the children to Aquila’s home, but other
arrangements can be made, if needed.
*An equine professional is protected by a Texas Law from any
injuries or deaths associated with an equine activity. The
laws will be posted at the birthday party.
